Did you feel like you couldn’t share this with anyone?
Did you blame yourself, thinking you should have done more to stop it?
Do you feel numb or disconnected from your body?

Do you avoid sex altogether — or do you find yourself overly sexual as a coping mechanism?
If these experiences feel familiar, you are not alone.
All of this is painful, confusing, and overwhelming — and I can help you navigate it safely.

What Is Intimate Partner Sexual Assault?
Sexual assault can happen in a dating relationship, marriage, or long-term partnership.
Consent is required every single time, regardless of the relationship status.
When someone:
pressures you
ignores your “no”
uses force
takes advantage when you’re distressed
has sex with you when you’re frozen or numb
or assumes sex is “owed” because you are together
…it is not consensual.
It is sexual assault — even if you loved them.
Many women feel confused because:
“He’s my boyfriend.”
“We’ve had sex before.”
“I didn’t fight back.”
“I froze.”
“I didn’t want to make him angry.”
Your body’s response was a survival mechanism, not a choice.the best therapist is someone you feel comfortable with. Finding the right therapist is a lot like dating ……you may need to book several intro calls to find out whose energy feels right for you.
My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and paced gently so your nervous system feels safe.
In therapy, we work on:
